about
the firm
Halawi Law is a commercial litigation boutique built for a better way of practicing law. We combine serious litigation capability with ongoing outside counsel, working alongside clients from day one to help them grow, spot risk early, avoid disputes where possible, and resolve them decisively when they arise.
We also think the traditional billing model is overdue for an upgrade. Legal work should be efficient, costs should be predictable, and clients should not have to wonder what every email or phone call will cost. Halawi Law uses flat-rate and other predictable fee arrangements wherever possible, giving clients direct access to experienced counsel without big law layers, full-time overhead, or open-ended invoices.
the lawyer
Jude Halawi is a trial and appellate litigator, former federal law clerk, and former big law attorney with more than a decade of experience representing Fortune 500 companies, global businesses, executives, athletes, musicians, organizations, and individuals in high-stakes disputes. He represents clients in litigation, appeals, and negotiations in federal and state courts across the country.
His practice spans the substantive spectrum, including complex commercial disputes, employment matters, financial services, securities, class actions, product liability, real estate, regulatory matters, and other business-critical conflicts. Jude has spent his career on both sides of the “v.” That perspective matters not only when a case needs to be fought, but when it should not be: he helps clients identify the fastest, most economical path to resolution—including avoiding litigation altogether when that is the better result.
Jude founded Halawi Law to bring that experience closer to the client: fewer layers, faster decisions, direct access, and one lawyer who understands both the business problem and what happens if it reaches a courtroom.
